Dr. Venkataramana Vijay is a practicing cardiothoracic surgeon at the Mt Sinai Hospital, Brooklyn and the School of Medicine, New York. He has been an active frontline physician in the thick of the COVID-19 crisis in New York , at the same time is flying FEMA missions to China, Japan and Malaysia on the Jumbo Jet Boeing 747 to bring essential medical supplies to the USA.
