In August 2022, I began my position as Professor of Writing and Communication and Chair of the School of Literature, Media, and Communication at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. I had previously spent the last nine years (2013-2022) as a Professor of Writing Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I also served as a writing program director (2013-2017), associate dean of liberal arts (2017-2021), and department head (2021-2022).
