Michael P. McGillicuddy is spending his retirement helping others.

Michael McGillicuddy, a two time UIC graduate, that earned a MA in Sociology from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in 1972 and a MSW in 2003 from Jane Addams College of Social Work is spending his retirement in jail offering educational and psychosocial groups to incarcerated women and men. He also founded Untying Knots, an organization devoted to unraveling the knots of polarization that are strangling us as a society. He has offered more than 40 such workshops around the country.
