Impassioned Medicine: Medical Student Alex Cano
Born in Mexico and raised in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood, medical student Alexandra Cano wants to apply everything she's learned at the University of Illinois College of Medicine to improve the health of her community. The clinical training and personal support she has received at the College of Medicine will prepare her to teach and lead the next generation of medical professionals.
