Dr. Francisco J. Prieto has been named to the National Board of Directors of the American Diabetes Association
Francisco Prieto M.D. has been named to the National Board of Directors of the American Diabetes Association. Dr. Prieto graduated from the Univ. of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Minnesota Medical School before training in Family Medicine at the University of Arizona. He has practiced in California for over 30 years and previously served 2 terms as a patient advocate member of the Board for the Calif. Institute for Regenerative Medicine (cirm.ca.gov), California’s stem cell research agency. He is a long time volunteer for the ADA, currently serving as chair of the National Advocacy committee.
