Two UIC faculty members will join us to equip Illinois voters with the facts about the proposed amendment to the Illinois constitution, that would allow a graduated rate income tax. CUPPA’s David Merriman helps governments develop mechanisms to raise revenue and implement public policy, and LAS’s Christopher Mooney studies U.S. state politics and policy. They are each senior scholars with the University of Illinois Institute of Government and Public Affairs, which researches public policy in Illinois.
