Impactful Medicine: Illinois Heart Rescue
Through a generous $2.5 million grant, Medtronic Philanthropy fostered the Illinois Heart Rescue (IHR) collaboration. Physicians from the University of Illinois College of Medicine spearhead the collaboration between the Chicago Fire Department, EMS first responders and community partners like the Chicago Cubs to increase survival rates of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests.
