Transportation consumes the majority of our petroleum-based fuel and emits nearly one-third of harmful emissions in the U.S. Freight transportation is a major contributor to this, and electric vehicles are emerging as a probable solution. On March 9 at 12 p.m. CT, the College of Engineering’s Jane Lin will share the state of electrification in passenger and freight vehicles, incentive programs, environmental impacts and the challenges we face in getting there.
